Enroll Now for the 2023/2024 School Year!

The Rocket Academy is now accepting applications!

To Enroll:
A) Please fill out the Rocket Academy Application for Admission. This document simply declares your interest in attending the academy and is non-binding. It will also serve as your entry into the lottery if applications exceed the enrollment cap.

B) Once your family gets notified of acceptance into Rocket Academy, an introductory meeting will be scheduled to discuss academic and career planning needs of each student and answer any questions.

C) Your family either formally accepts or denies Rocket Academy's invitation to attend.

If you live OUTSIDE the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District:

D) After enrolling to the Rocket Academy, fill out an Open Enrollment Application. The Open Enrollment Period runs from February 6 - April 28, 2023. If you decide after April 28, you will need to fill out an Alternative Open Enrollment Application. Once CGBSD accepts your enrollment, you still have the choice to decline and return to your home district if you do not get a spot in the academy via the lottery.

IMPORTANT IEP Notice For Open Enrollment The CGBSD has determined that they are at capacity for IEPs during the 2023-2024 school year and will not be accepting Open Enrollees with IEPs. If your student has an IEP, please feel free to contact me directly. Though we can not offer formal IEP support, we can discuss if the academic format of the academy inherently fulfills the learning needs of your student without formal IEP services.
