Our Mission

The Cedar Grove-Belgium Area School District is dedicated to fostering the intellectual, moral, cultural, emotional, social and physical development of all students in a secure environment thereby enabling them to function effectively in society as competent, productive, caring and responsible people.

Our School

Cedar Grove-Belgium High School was built in 1999 and has been recognized by the Sheboygan Press as the best place to attend school in Sheboygan County.  It has also been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top schools in Wisconsin.  The high school (grades 9-12) is organized into academic departments from the core areas - language arts, math, science, and social studies.  Cooperative learning and thematic units emphasize the core areas of instruction.  Other courses are offered in physical education, art, foreign language, music, family and consumer education, and technology education.  Cedar Grove-Belgium High School has articulation agreements with surrounding colleges that allow students to take some high school classes for college credit.

Our Students

Students attending Cedar Grove-Belgium High School consistently rank in the upper 1/3 of the state in various college entrance exams.  Average ACT scores are above the state average in all tested areas including English, Math, Reading, and Science.  The overall ACT composite scores are consistently above the state average.  Historically, our students have selected the following career paths upon graduation:  50% attend 4-year colleges, 40% attend 2-year or technical colleges, 10% enter the military or workforce.
